General Feeding Guidelines

Feed to maintain bodyweight. Supplement with a Brooks mineral/vitamin supplement such as Enhancer or All Phase 20 if feeding a complete feed at less than 1/2 pound per 100 pounds of bodyweight.

Most horses require 4-5 pounds extra concentrate above maintenance to gain a 1/2 pound of bodyweight per day. Higher fat levels increase calorie density.
